Scott Diodato, Director, Managed Markets/Project Management

Scott has worked in the pharmaceutical industry for 15+ years, starting his career with AstraZeneca in 1992. He has held various positions in Operations, Sales, Sales Training, Marketing, and Managed Markets.

Scott graduated from Penn State with a with a degree in Business Management and concentration in Marketing. Scott also attended Temple University where he earned an MBA, with a concentration in Marketing.

During his career at AstraZeneca, Scott has worked on projects within various therapeutic areas including:

Scott has developed and led managed markets sales training projects and workshops for field sales teams in all of these therapeutic areas. These programs and workshops focused on giving sales representatives a better understanding of the managed markets environment so that they could more effectively communicate and sell to physicians. He has also developed and implemented training and promotional strategies/tactics for Account Directors selling directly to managed markets customers.

Scott has worked on the product launches for Crestor, Nexium, Atacand, Lexxel, Iressa and Exanta.

Scott is also an adjunct faculty member at Rosemont College in suburban Philadelphia, where he has developed curriculum and teaches undergraduate business courses in sales and marketing.

Scott joined ERS in 2007 as Director, Managed Markets/Project Manegement. His broad experience in the pharmaceutical industry- marketing sales, sales training, and managed markets- is an excellent complement to the ERS team. This broad experience allows Scott to understand the perspectives of all of those who need to effectively collaborate and deliver a successful sales training experience.
