ERS Team Kelly Yannarell, Senior Manager, Learning Design and Development Kelly attended Bowling Green State University and earned Cum Laude honors along with the completion of a Bachelors degree in Arts and Science, History. After college and a stint of international travel, Kelly began her career in the pharmaceutical industry as a Professional Sales Representative in Cleveland. While posting successful sales numbers for Bristol-Myers Squibb, Kelly also earned an MBA at Case Western Reserve University with concentrations in Organizational Behavior and Marketing. The 5 years Kelly spent as a Professional Sales Representative for BMS provided a strong business foundation and a compass for future opportunity in the pharmaceutical industry. One experience Kelly remembers in particular is attending her first series of intensive training sessions as a newly hired sales representative. It was while attending this multi-week preparatory curriculum that Kelly recalls observing the mentoring and teaching role of the sales trainer and at that moment she knew, "That is what I want to do someday!" Kelly returned to Cleveland to successfully sell BMS brands including Plavix, Pravachol, Glucophage, and other products in the cardiovascular and metabolic portfolio. During her 5 years as a Sales Professional, Kelly won multiple sales awards including the Pinnacle Award awarded only to the top 10% of the sales force. In 2002, Kelly realized her goal to become a trainer and was promoted to a position with BMS Learning and Development. During her time in New Jersey, Kelly worked to build and maintain new hire curriculums for Primary Care and Specialty Sales Representatives. Some notable accomplishments include development of new hire sales force efficiency training, as well as the development of advanced sales and therapeutic knowledge training for the Neuroscience Specialty team, including both on-line and live workshop solutions. In 2004, Kelly accepted a position with a Pharmaceutical Advertising Agency on Madison Avenue in New York City. During this time, she worked with Sanofi-Aventis and the Allergy Business Unit on the Nasacort AQ and Allegra brands. Kelly joined the ERS team in May 2006, where her past experience in sales, sales training, marketing communications and client/vendor project management all synthesize to create cutting edge, interactive, learning solutions. |
